Shedding!

Had a wonderful tour around the Cape with my cousin’s friend who was so kindly volunteered to be our guide!
She was brought up in Fish Hoek so she was delighted to show us this lovely beach, we were walking along the beach when one of the locals pointed out the elephant seal in the distance!
I hot footed along to see this guy close up!
The local notice told me he is healthy & comes here most years to this same beach to shed his skin
& it usually takes a bout 3 weeks for this to happen! Wow! Who knew!
We also visa beach where penguins were basking too!
Difficult choice of blip today! & also saw a cape fur seal posing !
