Getting connected

It was a busy morning out at Gogarburn then back into Penicuik to move my mini from Kwikfit who were denying the sensor they fitted was broken back to Penicuik Motors, who, bless them, had a spare one they’d used to test it in the first place and fitted it and didn’t charge me a penny. Know where I’ll be going for ALL car issues in future - they really have been superb.

In other news, we’re finally being allowed to use the replacement bus taxi and it’s official, well for the last 2 months of the trial anyway. All our evening buses home from Edinburgh, after 6.30pm we’re cut in August after the Borders Council removed their share of the funding. After a lot of campaigning a scheme was set up for a taxi to replace the service, however as our postcode is in Midlothian, even though it goes right past our door, we weren’t allowed to use it. Sense is prevailing.
