Samovar

This was a 21st birthday present to me from my fellow students on my year abroad in Russia back in 1989. As my hat workroom is away from the house, I decided I needed teamaking capabilities, and this fitted the bill perfectly. It needed a bit of a clean, but it still boils water. You are supposed to have a tea pot on the top, I guess to allow the pot to warm in the steam before putting in the tea, but that has long gone! It works just fine getting the boiling water from the bottom tap.
