Getting ready

Arrived in Taupo to regular showers, heavy, and a bitter wind. But tomorrow will be perfect, Gaz told me so a week ago and this is a back blip. Here he is pretending to ride a bike, emulating one of the 1155 cyclists that will blast up this hill tomorrow. This spot will give a good background for it and the light will be from behind camera.

2 km swim, 90 km bike followed by a 21 km run. I actually have a lot of admiration for all those folk that do the work and take this on. And I love helping to tell their story.
