Study snack

I felt slightly odd scooping spoonfuls of this soft boiled egg into my mouth as I studied up on how live attenuated vaccines are made.

According to my professor's somewhat vivid description, fertilized eggs are infected with virus until the embryos are no longer viable and the infection is repeated in a new egg...so that after several months the virus is cold-adapted and can no longer infect humans. No mention was made of the kind of eggs used.

Not chicken eggs, I suppose, but I should have chosen a less concerning snack.
