Scalped

Kilda had a big walk in the gardens this morning before coming back to be bathed. Once she was dry we set about cutting her. She has become very matted recently and it was making her hot and uncomfortable we think. As a result she had to be scalped in order to get the clippers through her coat. She wasn’t very happy but a tube of pate seemed to help. Afterwards we had another walk before going to go outdoors. Yesterday convinced me I needed a bigger coat for the rugby and dog walking. Managed to get one along with some new shoes and a few bits for the camper. Bit of food shopping and then back for a night in front of the TV. Kilda enjoyed it when we got the spare duvet out for her to sleep on as its still cold.
