Touching the Void

Had the letter for my NHS ultrasound scan come through this morning. As its next Tuesday I cancelled the private one for tomorrow. Took Kilda for a walk in the morning but no squirrels around due to the cold. Managed to get a few more photos done but sitting down is still an issue. Took Kilda for a long run in the gardens this afternoon and found a few squirrels as it was a bit warmer. Early tea for both of us as J had bought tickets for the play ‘Touching the Void’. It is about a couple of friends who climb to the top of the Siula Grande. On the way down one of them had to cut the rope to save his life leaving his friend on the mountain. We read the book ages ago and the adaptation was very well done. Great night out. Glad we had an empty seat next to me to make sitting sound a lot more comfortable.
