Early Post
The Bossess had left very clear instructions.
The parcel full of pressies for the Ausi lot had to be mailed today and that meant this morning and that meant first thing this morning and that meant BE AT the post office at opening.
So Monday is walk day and this instruction could mean a serious hold up in proceedings but with his ears burning (no doubt) The Boss grabbed all the goodies and was outside the Post Office at the appointed hour. The "Queue' alias the "Line" for all our American friends, started just inside the door and The Boss thought he was dead in the water BUT there was "all hands on deck" with all the counters manned (actually womened too) and he was out of there with time to spare to pick up acyclinggranny and her pink portable chair, and with ME in the back off we went. The usual walk was supplemented by the AGM of the walking group which was a very serious affair held in a gully in the Sticky Forest and surrounded by abandoned cars where the outrageous expenses of $33.00 for the year was glossed over and the important part of the meeting began with the problem of how to eat "L's" Turkish Delight by folding a bread roll around it.
I returned exhausted by trying unsuccessfully to have someone offer me food while The Boss offered to seriously injure anybody who even thought of such a thing.
A great time was had by all.
So what has all that got to do with todays image.....
Well when The boss came out of the Post Office he looked back across the road and noticed this. Then there was a frantic scramble along Ballantyne road to find a foreground before it all changed.
Paw Note... At no time was the posted speed limit flaunted and no animals were car sick during this photography session.
