Predictable

I know, I know, it's yet another tui. But I just can't help myself.

I ducked down to the Rock Snot Cafe after work - it's not open yet but I wanted to see if the tui were feeding on the flaxes there. The answer is yes.

I tried to get images of one on the red flax - just so it looks different from my shot a couple of days ago, but he insisted on feeding on the yellow one. At least the background (the waters of the Buller River) show that it's taken in a different place.

I've chosen this image because I know my mother will like the fact that he has his tongue out.

I just noticed that this day last year was my nephew's wedding. One year on he and his wife are now a family with a beautiful 2 month old daughter.
