Eye Wash
Red damselfly, Xanthocnemis zealandica, a native of New Zealand.
It was sitting in the morning sunshine, vigorously wiping its face with two front legs. In large you can see that the pressure of its leg on the left eye is making a significant dent.
I'm sorry that I'm uncommunicative at present. I'm aiming at getting a blip up each day, but I don't have the energy for much else.
