Life goes on

A very sad day at work today as one of my caretakers died over the weekend. He collapsed at work on Friday morning with a brain aneurysm. Fortunately colleagues were with him and the paramedics soon arrived, but there wasn’t much they could do and he died on Saturday. I spent the morning with all his colleagues who are mostly in shock and disbelief. Clayton was 54yrs old and We were going to be interviewing him on Wednesday for a promotion.
Sometimes it’s difficult to understand why these things happen, and especially to good people.
There was never going to be an appropriate photo for today, but this was a tasting stand on Waterloo station where hundreds of thousands of people carried on as usual.
