Shade for the garden

It gets really hot down the bottom of the garden, so we have put an old sun umbrella up to protect some of the plants.

The courgettes/zucchini are proliferating, so we are freezing some for the winter months. In the meantime we are enjoying courgette fritters; replacing spaghetti with ribbons of zucchini and pesto; frying them whole on the BBQ....and many, many more ways! I’ll be able to compile a book soon!
