A first for 2009.

With all the winter weather of December and January, I have had no desire to go along the beach in the freezing cold. But today was really mild. I had an hour before I was due to sing at Old Folks' Home in Aultbea, and thought I would treat my best friend to one of his favourite walks.

We also met some doggy (and human) friends, who were also on the beach for the first time this year.

It was well worth it. The sun even tried to show itself through the clouds for us.
