into the slide box (and messing with the scanner settings).  I don't actually remember taking the photos, it was a while ago, but there is a sense of familiarity seeing the images.  Memory is an unreliable thing.

Seen two good films today - one was on tv, the Powell and Pressburger film 'A Matter of Life & Death' and the other was at Mull Film Club 'Faces Places' by Agnes Varda and JR.  I particularly loved the latter - interesting, beautiful and inspirational, if you get the chance to see it, do.
