See-through

For forty years the bit of land that this is on was home to a brutal housing estate where the poor and deprived were further brutalised. 

Last time I visited, the old primary school was still here. Now it has been demolished and replaced with a sycamore-clad building more suited to the new estate's current residents.

I wonder where the people who used to live here are now that this housing is unaffordable. (As has previously been asked in these pages.)
