Took the car part of the way to work this morning, and walked the last two and half miles. Biting wind on the Kessock Bridge. The traffic was barely moving at the walking pace. A peregrine falcon flew out from somewhere under the bridge. Very distinctive flight, and wing shape. First time I've seen one here. The sunrise was rather nice, but nowhere near as glorious as the one I watched from slow moving traffic yesterday.

Was hoping to go out at lunchtime, with the Zeiss, but ended up helping a colleague calculate a compass bearing for pointing his son's TV aerial. All that trigonometry learned years ago, finally put to use! Special thanks to the Ordnance Survey, and Bing maps.
