Closer

After going out in the garden to feed the birds this morning, I decided I couldn't face a further blast from the bitter wind, (-6 with windchill) so I did some more camera study and practice. The new superzoom is needing some practice but I'm sure I'll get used to it, and the the new DSLR is a joy - very intuitive operation - helps having had an earlier model. It is beautifully light too. It's just that once a long or even macro lens is attached, its weight reminds me of why I temporarily abandoned my previous one when I wasn't strong enough to lift it. Perhaps some weight training is needed ;-/
