Hellebore

Another cold and wet day, coupled with the onset of my husband's cold means that I stayed inside today.  My blip is of the hellebore, one of the overwinter (in the back stairway) plants.  I noticed that the Ipomena has a fresh crop of aphids and did a little slaughtering, accompanied by a hummed 'darth vader's imperial death march' and 'sorry, sorry'.  conflicted gardener, that's me.  I like how this photo looks like an old painting, I had a really high ISO as I was too lazy to go get and set up the tripod, maybe tomorrow..
