Please don't hit the glass.

Captured this sign at a pet shop in the shopping mall. It's asking you not to hit the glass through which you can see dogs and cats sold at the shop, so that they won't get startled and stressed. The word 'hit' sounds too strong but I'm not really sure.

Met one of my ex-colleagues from uni and worked on some linguistic data at two different cafes in the shopping mall. After that she said she wanted to stop by at the pet store as she loves dogs. I prefer cats actually but enjoyed seeing some cute doggies there (the only cat sold there was sleeping then).
