time for tea

Mum Puss, our feral cat, had been sitting in the porch on a cushion.  I had left the door open slightly so she could keep a bit warmer.  Unfortunately she has to stay outside as she would go 'bonkers' if she was trapped with no way out.  Since her two younger daughters died she has become extremely friendly and wraps herself around my legs constantly, so much so that I am sure one day she will trip me up.  Her behaviour since the second daughter died has been amazing, before she would have nothing to do with us at all.  I am lucky that I have a good neighbour who will feed her if I am away - which is quite a lot!!!  My son says that she is luckiest feral cat ever.

I hope that she will survive the cold winter as she is now quite old, at least 12 years old.
