Frozen pond - and essential reading

I managed a very short walk today, despite the cold conditions, but lovely sunshine.

A superb interview in the Observer/Guardian web site with Don McCullin and Giles Duley. The Don McCullin retrospective is at Tate Britain from 5 February to 6 May: I've never enjoyed going to London, but if I was still capable of getting there I would definitely plan to visit it.
