End Of A Good Day

Today marked the start of the final stage of closing the shop. I officially made it known in the local paper that I was retiring from running the shop. Everybody is shocked! Adverts saying "Up to 50% off" brought in the crowds quite a lot of customers.

I worked hard all day and got by with a little help lots of help from my friend!

It isn't the best Christmas window we've ever done but I need it to be recorded here anyhow. It was supposed to relate to the theme of Fairy Tale, but most aren't Christmasy or happy sort of stories.

After we locked up we went out for a nice Christmas dinner at The Stoneybeck with The Man's former workmates. Good to have been invited out by the department.
