Buzzsaw

Out with pals for lunch. After food and chat and a couple of pints it was a pretty leisurely afternoon at home with sofa and book.

We did watch Velvet Buzzsaw later on with out eldest and it was alright. Good in places but, really, as the art world appears so ridiculous and preposterous to the outsider, any satirical comment really needs to be a lot sharper for it to work effectively. Maybe if they'd ramped it up to Suspiria-like levels and increased the gore content, or made it decidedly uncomfortable like The Square it would have made a much better film.
