Big Brother is Watching .....

.... but was unsure if anyone was there or not. I had sat down slowly and silently in the snow having caught sight of a herd of 6 chamois in the woods this morning. My ancient green anorak worked a treat as camouflage. By sheer luck, I was close enough to take some files that were big enough to crop to portraits. You can see that the main blip is a male with much thicker horn bases compared to the old female (extra) and probably the youngest member of the herd (extra) is a female too. Today was not a day to go into the mountains with poor visibility and deep snow and I am so glad I stayed locally. These chamois normally run away as soon as they detect any movement or noise as, sadly, they are hunted.
