Cause True Love Lasts For Ever
Wow, that's been a couple of Days of Crazy Blips Days!
I know they were out of Order, but, Boy started writing last weekend, and has been fitting in his writing with his work and play... so thank you Boy for the lovely words, and pictures, and well done again on making your mam cry. (Dad read it hidden from my sight, so I'm suspecting he cried too).
And thank you all so much who came and stopped by to say Hello.
And Friday - Friday was J And L's welding. A beautiful day organised by their own fair hands, the sun shone, everyone smiled and laughed, The bride danced like no one was watching, and the Groom stole the bass, and to the best of my knowledge there were no fistiecuffs.
The Bride did the Origami, wore shoes with a Bride and Groom for the heels, and smelt amazing, she came down the Aisle to the Theme from Star Wars. At that point you knew how it was gonna be. There were poems, and hand tying - and then the grans and the mams and the brother and sister were dragged along the prom for photos.
One of my lovely nephews took a chair for the oldest gran (not my mam) - and there was a lovely shot of her sitting, beach front, with every man's jacket wrapped round her shoulders as they tried their hardest to keep her warm.
Then there were speeches, the groom's bum (with the Best Man's Name Tattoo'd on it), the Favours were Brewdog Beer (a fav of himself and me) - beer keys, Jam filled with love. The band, "the Invitations" were bloody amazing. The first dance was Many of Horror... it was perfect. Absolutely perfect.
And today (Saturday) was a down day. I was exhausted. I can only imagine how the bridal party felt. There was much passing of photographs between us all and much laughing.
I sat on the beach for a while at sunset, just to take in the peace and the quiet and the love.
A really lovely weekend, and it's only Saturday.
