R & R
I did a lot of work yesterday (whatever happened to weekends?) so I was determined that today would be a day for indulgence. It worked out pretty well. My dashed reliable body clock woke me at 05:30 so I relaxed with a Kraftwerk CD and then went for an early morning run. Running with JMJ through the dockyard always brings back happy memories of his fabulous Destination Docklands which I went to in 1988.
In the afternoon I added some more CDs to my Walkman, and then, in the evening, I went to see a few of the children from my class perform in a children's theatre group production of Ondine.
Now, after a bath, I will enjoy eating a large makizushi facing east-north-east without speaking, and then wear an oni mask as Valerie and Arthur throw dried beans at me. It's a setsubun tradition. After that, I hope to finish reading Cryptonomicon.
Indulgence.
