Cape Vidal
We checked out of our B&B in St Lucia and went for a drive through Isimangalsio Wetlands Nature Reserve (East Side) after the £9 for our permit. A good twenty miles through the reserve we reached Cape Vidal, a stunning beach. You can camp or stay the night in a log cabin. There's a couple of shops and the petrol station (see blip photo). Useful for the many speed boats that go out fishing and even for the motorist who gets caught short. Quite a quaint petrol station - and you don't get to say that about petrol stations very often!!!
It took about 45 minutes to drive out of the reserve and then a good two hours to Ballito, on the outskirts of Durban (South Africa) where we are staying in a lovely beach apartment, the whole village done out in the greek style of Santorini.
Good satelite tv but no wi-fi in our apartment. I did watch Cardiff City beat Bournemouth in a thrilling 2-0 win to keep us afloat.
Sorry for the lack of replies due to the wi-fi issue!
