watching me watching you

Slow start to the day after last night's shenanigans and high jinks into the wee small hours. +1/2's parents had to scoot off fairly early so it was a quiet day of tidying up, making food, feeding children and watching a film.

+1/3 wanted to play with the telescope (we have an old bird spotting scope that we got from a friend) so he got out the tripod. He then spotted that he could put a camera onto the tripod. Well, yeah! The camera that he has is the first good quality digital camera we could afford, a Nikon 775; I traded in my old Pentax P30n and 50mm f1.4 lens for it. I should have kept the lens...
