Spoilt for choice

We had a thoroughly lovely afternoon out today, visiting my aunt and cousin in Wymondham. After a truly splendid lunch in one of the nicest pubs I've been to in a long time we ambled back to my aunt's house via the amazing Abbey. (Running out of superlatives now!)

Took lots of pictures. but I liked the light on the stones best in this one. Would have preferred to crop it, but that made the dimensions too small for blip.

Little and Littler G thoroughly enjoyed their outing too (and their early Christmas presents, including a toy saxophone that was clutched all the way home... thankfully the tooting was replaced by snoring about half an hour into the journey!) Little G asked at bedtime if we could go there again some time.
Yes, son. I certainly hope so.
