Snow day

A day of two halves.

Wonderful sight of snow this morning and two v excited children for a snow day. we had a great time out on our big field sledging, snowballing and playing in the blizzard.

In the afternoon it was the funeral of my friend and neighbour Alex - a lovely service and send off for her, although at times deeply deeply sad.
We headed to the local football club to celebrate her life and drank the bar dry of prosecco. Alex loved prosecco and would I’m sure have approved. RIP Alex.
