Carrion Crow ...
… on the nearest chimney opposite our Paris apartment. There are two species of crow in Western Europe: the Carrion Crow and the Hooded Crow--the latter is found in the north and in Ireland (we see it regularly when in Dublin), and the former in the greater part of Europe. I blipped a hooded crow last year in Albania.
We watched two more rugby matches in the Six Nations tournament: Scotland beat Italy and England beat Ireland, both by substantial margins. No surprise in either case, except perhaps that it was only England's third win in Dublin (if I heard the French announcers correctly)
