I think this is such a charming stamp. Canadians' willingness to make heroes of their writers and characters is another reason to admire them.

We loved Anne growing up and I've stood at the real Green Gables house in Prince Edward Island and imagined being that red haired girl.

No real achievements today. Shops that didn't have things in stock. Call centres that didn't really answer my questions.

Not to worry, consoling myself with cocoa and leftover maple and pecan cake :-)
