Blackstone Edge

Made the best of the sunny and calm day and walked along the Pennine Way to the trig point on top of Blackstone Edge, where the black stones were looking a little white. Many other people and the same idea and had gone the same route, mostly with their canine friends who were loving the snow, even a dachshund who accidentally disappeared into a small snowdrift. There are obviously great views all around from up there, you can just see the tallest buildings of Manchester in the hazy distance.
