Slightly imperfect

Hubs gave me a beautiful flower arrangement for my birthday this week which included three lovely roses.  A few days have passed and now the roses are just slightly imperfect...which I rather like.  Nothing fancy here - just put the rose in my soft box in front of a window and fired off a few quick shots.  Crop, minor faffing, and it's a wrap.

We are leaving shortly to meet my bestie Ellen and another friend of many years for an early dinner.  A little ongoing birthday celebration.  There will doubtless be many laughs as we have a lot of shared history among us.
