Ice!

Our suggested session of a 6 mile outing in racing kayaks was scuppered by the weather - sheet ice over most of the canal! So we got the plastic boats out and set out for a session of ice breaking. Pity really as the sun shone and it would have been a lovely day for a long trip!
Then after the regular dog walk, orchestra concert I don’t think we have ever had such a huge audience before! They were actually standing in the aisles! I felt duty bound to put in maximum effort so now my shoulder is really hurting! That is the problem with an unfamiliar viola.
