Update 5:30 pm: Finally got out at midday. Bus to Poole Park. Walked past the lake to the Bay. Refreshment at Hotel du V. Now back home preparing dinner, and friend joined us. Been a fabulous day so far and .. enjoyed that Sun..

Tonight’s the coldest night of the winter apparently, with Artic temperatures up North. Here due to reach -3C.
