Lazy...
...not really. I’ve done quite a lot of clipping and cleaning in the garden and outside today so when I sat down for a cuppa I looked out and thought..”that can be my blip today”. I didn’t need to move. I still haven’t finished so tomorrow will continue the jobs. It’s been a nice warm summer day. Only 30 degrees so nice to get out and do some things outside.
Our main trip out was to Bunnings where we measured up a new ladder, a bit taller than the one we have for camping ( to get up onto the roof of the caravan). We found just what we wanted, much lighter than the one we have and a good step higher. When we got home we found we had picked up the smaller one in the shop so had to go back. The new larger one was $10 cheaper so figure that out if you can. Same brand!
We also got two small camping tables only 3 kg each and easy to put up. The current solid one is really heavy so we can put the BabyQ barbecue on one and eat off the other. Weight is all important when travelling and we are always trying to get the lightest equipment. We weight everything.
Bob is cooking tea and the TV is on. We are watching(!!!) slow TV the current program is the Indian Pacific rail journey which goes for 17 hours ( the program that is, the rail journey takes 4 days) very few adds and minimal talking. Very relaxing to have on in the background. We are booked to do the journey to Perth in May.
Thoughts go out to those who are hot, cold or wet or have bushfires and thankful our day was so nice here. The weather can be vicious.
