From the short walk this morning. It was PD who chose the short route - probably because his feet were cold. Which is fine because if it gets too cold it isn't good for him to walk too far.
He chose a short walk at lunchtime too - which was fine. Although the air temperature was fine, the ground and anything in the shade was still frozen solid.

Squirrel joined us at The Larder today. She has given up gymnastics (they weren't advancing her enough) in preference to martial arts and was delighted at seeing what we got up to (and being able to choose whatever sort of cake she wanted).
I had some fun taking pictures of the staff, their tools of the trade and the cake preparations for tonight's event (a murder mystery evening).

We had a visit from Chicken Lady earlier this evening (to pick up her birthday present) and a good old natter.

Unfortunately it was written with the wrong kind of pen and wont come off, despite attempts with various cleaning and solvent products.
