Aperture on Life

By SheenaghMclaren

365!

It's not strictly a year, as it's a leap year, so the real celebration should be the 366 tomorrow.
I've spent the day hoping for the skies to clear for a star shot, more in honour of Sir Patrick Moore than my year. It's a sad to celebrate a 365 on the day that a life long influence dies.

The photograph taken I'll raise this glass to Blipfoto and my hero. In your opinion, is it half empty or half full?

One year ago I started this journal on a full moon. I'm a self confessed lunatic but never believed I could take a photograph a day for a full year.

I'm not going anywhere! I renewed my subscription yesterday. Blip has become part of my life. More than my photography, which is dubious at the best of times, I have seen images that inspire me, stories that make me laugh and sometimes cry. Many of you have become so much part of my life.

I've had to limit my time on blip, and it pains me not to be able to respond to all the wonderful comments I receive. I appreciate these more than I can say. In essence, however guilty I feel, I've had to be realistic and acknowledge that blipping won't pay the bills or walk the dogs for me. Each and everyone of you gives a diverse view on our world and is so special that I wouldn't want to be without you.

365 today and much more in the future! Thank you all for your support... now looking to wonderful times ahead!
