Snow day!

A text message and email this morning cheered Theo no end with the announcement of a "snow day". Both boys ate breakfast at break neck speed and were out playing in the snow in no time. The snow was 3-4 inches deep but started to thaw this afternoon and after lots of playing, is now trampled on and a lot shallower. The extra photo shows the "untouched" snow before the boys used all the fresh snow for snowballs, snowmen and footprint making (plus Theo's Thundertrax toy for Christmas had to join in!).
Fingers crossed it melts and isn't too icy by the early morning for my drive to work.
