A Rare Winter Selfie!

Whilst back home the snow was falling heavily, Bristol Airport was closed, as were all the local schools, not a single snowflake fell in Ely! Gutted!! So visiting Lavenham in Suffolk this morning, I was very happy to see that they’d had a little snow overnight and there was still a little snow to be found, just enough for me to stand in (the fact had to be recorded, it might be the only snow I see this year!).

A morning spent exploring this beautiful medieval wool town, giant crumpets for lunch in a lovely little vintage tea room with views of the Guildhall, then on to Newmarket for a cuppa (they’ve still got the same door mat for sale as they did two years ago - see one of my many extras!), before heading back to Ely for an evening watching the rugby.
