Snow in the Close

Wasn't expecting this as we thought we were too far east and north, but the Close was completely covered, and while I cleared the snow off the car and around it  as well as making paths for us and Willoughby - I didn't relish heading out for Pilates, which is a real shame as I will be in France next week, so will miss it again.

Around 10:00 neighbours started to come out to clear their driveways and the kids started snowball fights and snowmen.  It's difficult in the close as there is very little traffic to melt the ice, but it does make it quiet and peaceful.

Set off for the weekly shop after midday and all was well on the main roads.  Don't know what will happen tonight!
