Would you believe it?
The biologists at Aberdeen University have long been involved in genetical modification. As early as April 1st 1988 there were claims that they had managed to clone the extinct Great Auk, using DNA recovered from an egg in the University's Natural History Museum!
Now there are rumours that the team have made another major breakthrough. With an eye on the growing market for vegan food they have managed to produce giant genetically modified mushrooms. Coming soon, to a market near to you, so that you can start hoarding for the promised post-Brexit armageddon.
You can only laugh!
