Friday. Wash day. Last day.

I’m in Silawatwari, Udaipur.

This isn’t the best picture I have taken  today but it made me think of the contrast of this side and that side of the river. (It’s actually a lake).

On the near bank the washers as they have washed for 1000’s of years (?) and on the other in High Rise Apartments  with washing machines within their ‘ white goods’ allocation.

The splendid bridge and the water with hint of suspicious but possible harmless algae links these alternative worlds.

I think India with its contrasts  have made me think too much!!

I've put in a couple of extras of local people.

Down to earth tomorrow when we  fly back to the UK and a land of snow , I hope!
