Solitude

Another change of hotel - and country!

After leaving the hotel  in Kuala Selangor, we paused for some breakfast. Whilst eating our curry (not my normal breakfast fare) I had the camera on the table angled towards a few of the other diners. This old chap was tucked away in a corner and in his own world. Looking at his face in close up there is a story to tell. He appears sorrowful and alone.

We set off on the journey but paused when came across an amazing Buddhist temple, relatively new with incredible carvings. I hope that this is not destined to be painted as it was just perfect in its natural stone.- details of an exterior sculpture as extra.

Arriving in KL we returned the hire car and then visited the KL tower. Impressive and, perhaps, better than the Petronis Tower of a few days ago. On the way our we paused to look at a very old tree preserved next to the KL Tower which had been shifted a few feet to allow the tree to stay.  (Extra)

The flight to Singapore was short and smooth and we are now in another hotel for two days of exploration ahead of our flight back to UK.
