Feed me!

Well, we did get some snow, although only about an inch so a bit disappointing but, on the bright side, it meant I didn't think twice about the wisdom of giving myself the morning off and heading over to Petersfield Heath. I'm glad I did as it was all happening with swans and geese mating, moorhens and coots fighting, various gulls and ducks walking on ice (and tripping), ducks bathing, and so on. I rather liked this juvenile herring gull who was impatiently and tenaciously asking his parent for breakfast, which he got in the end. More pictures here, if of interest.
