Longest connection ever...

Arrived in Doha last night and we didn’t have to connect for 7 hours so we booked a hotel at the airport to get some sleep before the onward flight to Thailand.

It took nearly 2 hours to get out of the airport queueing at immigration so we ended up getting about 3 hours sleep. Back to the airport for another lenghthy queue to get back out of the country. By the time we had passed security it was time to go to the gate.

We waited and waited to be told the flight is delayed 3 hours and they took us for a free breakfast. After this it was then back to the gate getting close to the 3 hours I asked for an update and they just said we will give more information after the 3 hours, more waiting to then be told it’s delayed a further 4 hours! Luckily we managed to find some comfy seating where you can lie down and got some sleep. I’m hoping that shortly we will be boarding our flight.
