Arthur’s Seat and Auld Reekie....

A clean crisp day again. Only down side was all the water troughs needing defrosted to get cattle a drink. Lost count around about the tenth kettle of boiling water.
One next door again mucking out. A day spent mixing slurry here, having to pump water from the burn to thin it down enough.
Also had to jag a couple of stirks for pneumonia. Don’t usually get much bother with them compared to the wee calves but it’s been a funny year this time.
A trip out for a family birthday meal tonight. Good feed but now stuffed to the gun whales !
