... the 1920s dinky Viola!

My usual viola packed up on Tuesday - sound post came loose and I can’t get it fixed till next week - but we have a concert this weekend. So I had to dig out the spares that have been gathering dust to see if either were playable. The conclusion is that the small one I inherited sounds vaguely OK but the cheap one I bought years ago to get back into playing is ..technically...firewood!
Horrible thing. I cannot believe I actually played it for 4 years!
Not entirely sure what to do with it now as it is utter rubbish.
At least I have something to play on Saturday!
