Newcastle

Walked from Newcastle station to Ouseburn, a part of town I hadn’t been to before. Obviously some regeneration has happened as the old buildings have lots of small businesses in them and there’s even a museum, of children’s books. Most surprisingly there is also a stables, couldn’t guess where they might go riding so near the centre of the city.
I passed this building on the way, the old Holy Jesus Hospital which dates back to medieval times, now owned by the National Trust and very difficult to photograph as it’s only a couple of metres from a dual carriageway.
